Not only the Waldner management honoured Mr. Angele for his services to the company, but also Advisory Board Chairman Dr. Jörg O. Waiblinger described Karl Angele as a "masterpiece of Anton Waldner". Karl Angele, who has been with the company for 50 years - more than 20 of them as Managing Director - has made the "Packaging Machines / Dosomat" division a very successful part of the group. In the industry, he is not only referred to as "Mr. Dosomat", rather this product division is his life's work.
In the period from 1983 to 2023, more than 3,500 filling and closing machines for all consistencies were designed, built and put into operation. Around 80% of the machines are still in operation today. These machines fill and package food, pet food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical products all over the globe. Especially for the products for the pharmaceutical industry have supported vaccine manufacturing during the Corona Pandemic.
"Mr. Dosomat and Waldner are now embarking on a new future," says Stephan Schaale, CFO of Waldner, bidding farewell to the long-time managing director and introducing Muhammer Kör as the successor to Karl Angele. As a specialist in mechanical engineering, Muhammer Kör has been familiarising himself with Dosomat for over a year and will now take over the management of this division.
