Mobile unit for supplying media such as electricity, WLAN, and combustible gas – “Science to go!” Supports self-directed learning and modern didactic concepts. Flexible use anywhere in a room or even outside traditional classrooms. Naturally, operation—for example with Bunsen burners using the Strom-Gas-Buddy—is subject to standard safety regulations and requires a room with a second escape route.

Power-Buddy

The use of the Strom-Buddy is not restricted by RiSU or other safety regulations, so operation is possible even outside conventional specialized classrooms.

Emergency stop column

The emergency stop column is intended exclusively for shared use with multiple medienBuddys®. The following requirements apply to every room in which medienBuddys® are used for a science classroom:

• Central emergency stop
• Two escape routes available
  (when using the electricity-gas Buddy)

Special features:

The emergency stop column fulfills the requirement of a central emergency stop by connecting the used medienBuddys® into a shared emergency stop network. In the event of danger, all medienBuddys® in the emergency stop network are switched off simultaneously.

The scope of delivery of the emergency stop column includes a master column and a slave column, which are each installed at the two required escape routes. In an emergency, the emergency stop can be activated both at the master column and the slave column when leaving the room, as well as directly on the medienBuddy® itself.
